Uh-oh, rant ahead...

I wondered if this account would have been deleted for the period of inactivity... turns out not. Woo!

This is cause for celebration, because of late I have felt the stirrings of blog posts rising up within me, only to be quelled by the realization that my xanga account had probably been left inactive too long. But no, it still works.

(For those of you reading this on Facebook, you might not see what the big deal is... I post these blog entries on my 'blog' and they get imported into FB as Notes. For some reason I prefer writing on xanga - just because it's what I'm used to!)

Next step, must get brain to work.

I've been mulling a series of posts - rather, rants - about current goings-on in the news and media. There have been a few articles in the news recently that have elicited rather strong reactions from me (and others alike), or events in popular media that really don't/didn't deserve the reception they received. I've felt like this is a good medium to get things off my chest.

I am fully aware that my opinions are often narrow-minded, ill-informed, one-sided and controversial, but then again - most readers of these posts are adults living in countries where free speech is legal. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong and why you think Fairtrade really is the future and doesn't taste crap - who knows, I might even take some of it on board!

Angry at God

I have just spent the past hour pissed off with God, yelling abuse (out loud) at Him and generally using language I normally don't.

I have also been through other emotions too. A lot of them, all quite strong. But this is probably the first time I've sworn at God, and there was plenty of that.

Before you ask, I have no plans of revealing anymore. So I appreciate your concern but this is all you'll get
